Christine Zamarra

Councilwoman

Bernardsville Borough Council

Christine has served on the Borough Council since January 2018 and is known as a tireless advocate for sustainability and walkability in Bernardsville. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Public Works Committee, and member of the Personnel, Environmental Commission, Green team, and Cultural Arts committees.

She is well-known for organizing borough-wide clean-up days, including the Raritan Headwaters Stream Clean-Up and collaborating to implement the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign started under Mayor Sooy in 2018. Christine volunteers with the Green Team, Heartworks, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, School of St. Elizabeth, Bedwell School, Bernardsville Middle School, Girls Scouts, and the Sportsfriends Soccer Club.

Relatedly, Christine teamed with the Bernardsville Police Department to create and launch the Drive Safe Bernardsville Campaign and applied for and received a grant to address walkability in Bernardsville, particularly on Bernards Avenue. Christine received a BA in French from Drew University and has been working in financial services since 1996. Christine is a native of Weehawken and a resident of Bernardsville since 2003. She and her husband have three children.

Jeffrey C. Roos is a seasoned Executive Producer and Creative Project Manager based in Bernardsville, NJ, with extensive experience leading multi-million-dollar video, digital, and campaign projects for Fortune 200 companies. He currently serves as Executive Producer at Wunderman Thompson Studios, leading creative production for major global clients like Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Centene Corporation.

His career spans key production roles at vipHomeLink, FCB Health, Digitas Health, Omnicom, DISH Network, and TBD New York. An award-winning producer, Jeffrey’s work has earned top honors at the Hollyshorts Film Festival, an AICP Award nomination, and a Cannes Lions Mofilm Grand Prize. He holds a degree in International Business from Dickinson College and brings expertise in directing, creative development, and SCRUM project management.
